With the addition use of the Merchant Shopcarte terminal, loyalty and
payment programs can now leverage the power of smart chips easily and
cost effectively at any retailer cash register system. The Merchant
Shopcarte is equipped to accept a broad range of Smart Cards, RFID chips
and IR equipped cell phones and PDA's. The inexpensive terminal has
multiple ways to connect with the electric cash register system (ECR),
requiring little to no change to a retailer’s existing infrastructure.
These integration methods include the patented bar code emulator that
passes information directly to the retailer’s bar code scanner or a
special protocol serial port connector. Plus, the Merchant Shopcarte
will also display the information stored on smart chips, RFID chips and
IR-equipped devices on the terminal's LCD allowing retailers to use the
terminal as a standalone device.

WearLogic's terminal can
also be connected to the Web Hosted Retail Platform. This platform
provides critical customer relationship information which is actionable

Ethernet connection.
Couponing
Any UPC-compatible coupon for merchant or brand specific products can be
selectively redeemed at the Point-of-Sale (POS). All rewards are instant
and displayed in the LCD in the form of “ %” or “$” off of specific
goods, manufacturers or the entire purchase.
Frequency-based Loyalty
Frequency programs, such as punch cards, can easily be transferred onto
mobile devices.
Membership
New or existing retail membership programs can operate on today’s
popular mobile devices.
Gifting
Simple RFID tokens can be issued on cards, key fobs, or secure files
stored on mobile devices which can be fully or partially redeemed.
